Tasty Tuesdays: My go to chicken tender recipe!

One of my favorite things to do is cook with my kids. 

I know! I Know! We all do that, lol. 

However, it truly is one of my favorite things to do. It helped me learn do much more about my kids and how they are developing into the young people they are becoming. Now! 

I don’t want to make this or any Tuesday Tips one of those long drawn out post. Sooooo, here is one of my favorite go to recipes.

 I use this one a lot because, my kids love chicken tenders/ nuggets  and fries. This is my way of knowing exactly what they are getting and it saves us a ton of money

For this recipe I let my kids do the seasoning and I also help them learn to cut properly. 

Ingredients 

2 Packages of Fresh Chicken Tenderloins4-6 Russet Potatoes 4 tbsp Mild Jerk Seasoning
4 tbsp Lemon pepper
 Pinch Salt
Pinch Pepper
2-3 tbsp Paprika
2-3 tbsp Garlic Powder
 1 cup Flour
1/4 cup Cornstarch
Oil
Honey for drizzle

Procedure

Season strips with jerk seasoning and lemon pepper. ( I use my own brand of jerk and lemon pepper) 

Mix Flour and Cornstarch then season with Paprika, Garlic powder, salt, pepper

Coat tenders with mix  shake of the extra breading 

 Fry until golden and the chicken reaches a temperature of 165 degrees fahrenheit. 

Drizzle with honey immediately out of the fry.

For the steak fries, cut the potatoes in half then slice each half about a quarter inch thick. 

fry until golden drown about 8-10 min, remove from heat drain and sprinkle with salt and pepper while still hot.
